What Is Hacking?
Hacking is simply a wildcat use of computer and network resources. The term "hacking" historically referred to constructive, clever technical work that was not necessarily related to computer systems. Today, however, hacking and hackers are most commonly associated with malicious programming attacks on the Internet and other networks. The term "hacker" originally means a programmer who breaks into computer systems in order to steal, change or destroy data as a form of cyber-terrorism.
The Beginning Of Hacking
During the 1950s and 1960s, M.I.T. engineers first vulgarized the term and the concept of hacking. Starting at the model train club and later in the mainframe computer rooms, these hackers perpetrated the so-called 'Hacks' that were intended to be harmless technical testing and fun discovering activities.
Later, other than those M.I.T. engineers began applying the term to less ethical avocations. Before the Internet became popular, for instance, several hackers in the U.S. tried out with methods to alter telephones for making free long-distance calls over the phone network lawlessly.
As computer networking and the Internet blew up in popularity, data networks became by far the most common fair game of hackers and hacking.
Hacking Now-A-Days
Since most them are self-explored hackers, some corporations actually hire computer hackers as part of their internet security staff. These individuals utilize their skills to find faults in the company’s security system so that they can be fixed responsively. This type of computer hacking helps forestall identity theft and other serious computer and internet security related crimes.
Different Types Of
Hacking
Hacking is simply gaining control over any computer network and (or) Internet security ethically or unethically. The following are the different types or categories of hackers depending upon their intentions to hack.
WHITE HAT HACKERS:
White hat hackers, also depicted as ethical hackers, are the computer hackers intending to improve Internet and Network security in order to oppose the abuse of computer systems.
The term 'white hat hacker' is also often used to describe those who attempt to let out systems or networks in order to help the owners of the system by letting them mindful of security blemishes, or to execute some other selfless activity.
